The Swindon North constituency has undergone major changes following the Boundary Commission review ahead of the next General Election.

The constituency takes in much of Swindon city centre and urban and suburban housing areas to the north of it. It includes the significant satellite villages of Blunsdon St Andrew and Highworth, South Marston to the South East, Stanton Fitzwarren in the centre and Castle Eaton in the North West.

At the last census the constituency had 72,163 voters in eight electoral wards.
