Swindon South constituency has undergone significant change following the Boundary Commission review ahead of the next general election.

It includes a mix of urban and suburban housing, the renowned Swindon Designer Outlet centre and the outstanding leisure facilities of Lydiard Park, Shaw Forest Park, Coate Water Country Park and the Broome Manor Golf Complex. 

At the last census the constituency had 72,468 voters covering 10 electoral wards.
